📜 Divine History & Legend

Guru Thipperudra Swamy was a 15th-century Lingayat saint and social reformer who constructed several water reservoirs (lakes) in the drought-prone Challakere region. He lived a simple life in a cave temple (Guhe). Devotees throw dry coconut pieces (Koppari) onto the moving chariot as an offering of their surrender.
