Kar Hunnive marks the onset of the monsoon and the start of the agricultural sowing season. Farmers honor their bullocks, who are their primary agricultural partners. The event 'Karihariyodu' is a thrilling race where decorated bullock pairs run through a village lane to break a coconut-filled rope. The winning pair is believed to predict the agricultural output of the village.
